Winter is one of my favorite seasons to photograph. The light bounces off the snow in the perfect soft haze that makes skin look flawless and eyes shine.

Location options are wide open! The canyons are full of beautiful nooks with pine trees, aspens, and icy streams. And don’t discount the city. Urban streets are so fun in the hazy winter light. You can see a bunch of winter sessions here on the blog.
Wardrobe & Styling Tips
Think color and cozy layers. Bring a variety of beanies, scarves, and boots. Want to bring your skis or snowboard? Absolutely! Have a dog that loves the snow as much as you? Bring them!
