You’ve booked your senior portraits with me, and now you get to prepare for your session!

As soon as I receive your completed contract, your Welcome Kit will be dropped in the mail. Your Welcome Kit is full of helpful information to help you prepare for your portraits with Amanda Nelson Photography. Location and season guides, frequently asked questions, what to expect, collection choices and pricing, my editing philosophy, and much more!

Here are a few tips to consider while your Welcome Packet is on the way.

Prepare your wardrobe

Bring all of your clothes (IRONED) with you. Don’t forget your accessories – jewelry, under-camis, strapless bras, belts, scarves, hats, cute jackets and coats, gloves, and shoes (boots, heels, socks to go with the boots, flip flops to walk in).

Instruments, Sports, Cars

Graduates, think about instruments, sports equipment, and anything else that is unique to you that we can incorporate into your session.

Professional hair & makeup

If you are considering professional makeup and would like a list of recommended makeup artists, reach out! You can also see some information on the benefits of professional makeup here.
