05 Aug Samantha, Waterford Class of 2014 | Salt Lake City Senior Portrait Photographer
This girl…she’s amazing! Meet Samantha, my intern this summer and a senior at Waterford. I’ll be honest and admit that I don’t know how I ever got along without her. And what am I going to do when she’s all graduated and gone?
Samantha is an AP photography student and has an amazing eye. There’s no one who can reflect light like this girl. 😉 I was blown away by her portfolio – after she showed it to me, my first thought was that there’s not much I can teach this girl. I can’t wait to see where she goes with her incredible talent.
Samantha put a lot of thought into her outfits for her portraits. I loved going through the clothes and accessories she brought and matching them to each location we visited.
Below is one of her mother’s first bow ties that she wore to the office back in the 80’s. Oh yes, folks. You read that right – I know you can picture the shoulder pads right now.
We got rained out of our first session within the first 10 minutes. It poured and poured but we were going to get these purple wildflowers if it killed us. I’m so glad we did. They were gone the very next week.
Samantha brought her grandmother’s camera with her. She still shoots with this camera.
